ATiM was designed and developed by the Canadian Tissue Repository Network (CTRNet) in conjunction with leading Canadian tissue banks specifically for the operation of biobanks.
Since it’s founding, ATiM has been deployed in 38 Biobanks thoughout Canada and manages the data of more than 45,000 recruited participants and nearly 1.2 Million aliquots.
Demonstration and Module Highlights
Large Scale Pan-Canadian Studies
ATiM has been adopted as the software of choice for several large scale pan-Canadian studies.
Open source, ATiM is a highly functional and flexible, low-cost option for a biobanking software that can evolve alongside project needs.
MISSION OF THE PROCURE BIOBANQUE
“Respond to an urgent clinical need by providing biospecimens and data of the highest quality and scientific value to better understand prostate cancer, diagnose it earlier and treat patients in a precise and targeted way.”
The Canadian Prostate Cancer Biomarker Network (CPCBN) is a research program directed by a group of clinician and fundamental scientists with an ultimate goal to improve the clinical management of men with prostate cancer. This network is funded by the Terry Fox Research Institute and includes scientist from several universities from four different provinces (Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba and British-Columbia).
“Canadian Ovarian Experimental Unified Resource (COEUR) has been created to promote access, ensure quality, and provide standardization of biological material and data resources for biomarker research in ovarian cancer.”
